Adele shares what she learned from Brett Harris, author of “Do Hard Things,” at a young writers conference.
She talks about the two paths a writer can take:
Path A - Instant fame and success.
Path B - The road of hardships.
She then speaks about the two types of people you can become:
Person A - A great friend, caring, loving, supportive, a shoulder to cry on.
Person B - Not a good friend, not reliable, weak.
“Path A doesn’t go to Person A. Path A goes to Person B, and Path B goes to Person A.”
“Because of the hardship [Brett Harris] went through, he is able to help people like he is now. And if he had gone the path of easy success, he would not be able to be the person that he is today.”
